It was a shame to hear of Steve's passing. A lot of people didn't like him for various reasons (some of whom defaced Wikipedia), but I thought he was cool. He did lots of great things for Australia and it's wildlife. I'll be living in Queensland next year and will be sure to visit Australia Zoo. Of all the ways to go I never would have thought a Stingray would be the one for Steve, not after wrestling huge Crocs and playing with deadly snakes. RIP Steve and my condolences to your family.

Travel Books

As I'm going to be taking a 14 hour flight to the US the Wednesday, I need to sort out a couple of books to take. I haven't got into all the Di Vinci Code hype as of yet so I'm thinking of taking his first one Angels & Demons. I just finished an Ian Irvine novel and have just started Dragons of Summer Flame (one of those Dragonlance books) so I'll take that.

E-Bay

It's always tempting to buy Hugh Cook novels when I see them for sale on e-bay, even though I have them all (some I already have two copies of too). Even more tempting when two of them are just around the corner in Blacktown. I just can't justify it at the moment as I'm off to the US next week and don't get back till November.

Bombs fall in heat flash orange

.....10pm till 6am can be a long boring shift when there is nothing to do.....ive got my ipod and am listening to 'a perfect circle' at the moment.....2nite is the last night for the week.....next week im doing 5pm till 1am.....it'll be a lot busier then.....its just gone 5am.....not long to go now.....

Struggling through a book.....

I'm reading 'Cold War', one of those Tom Clancy 'Powerplays' and I'm struggling. It's just so bland. Unfortunately I'm one of those people that just has to finish a book once I've started. This proves a problem because I tend not to read much as I crawl my way through the book, leaving all the good books waiting on the shelf for ages.

Well……..I don’t know. Yet anyway. Having grown up reading Hugh Cook I now have a knack of making up strange words, which I plan on using is a series of stories I have just started writing.
